How do I sign up?
At our Home Page, you will find a “Sign Up Now! ” link below the client login form. Clicking on this link will bring to you our sign-up page which will require you to provide some information about yourself.  After this has been sent, our administrators will go over your profile and verify your information. 

After verification, our administrators will approve your account and you will receive a temporary password via email within 24-48 hours.  This temporary password can be used to log on to our website and gain access to our web based programs.

How is my dictation processed?
You will be assigned to a MT Group based on your specialty and your estimated dictation load. When you submit a dictation into our system, your assigned MT Group will automatically receive your dictation for transcription. An MT Group consists of medical transcribers together with a quality assurance manager, who check the transcription for accuracy and make the transcription available for online pick up.

How do I receive my transcriptions?
Your transcriptions can be downloaded through your client area on the internet. Just login to your Scripsys Orange or Scripsys Blue account and you will be able to access all your transcription files, together with the voice files you uploaded.

You can then view and print your transcriptions online or download them to your computer. From here, you can send the report to anybody via email or fax, auto or manually. You can receive transcriptions back in any format you wish, even in multiple formats. For more information on our file formats, please contact our administrators.

Are dictated and transcribed reports available "on-line"?
All your files will be available for up to 30 days from transcription date. After this, all downloaded files will be erased from the database.

To access past files which have already been erased, you should contact our administrators and supply the details of the file.

What if I upload my dictations over the weekend ?
We have transcriptionists working 7 days a week. The turnaround time also applies to weekend dictations.

Can you use my normals?
We will be happy to incorporate any normals or canned phrases you may routinely use in your dictation.

How can I be sure of Internet security issues?
Scripsys, Inc. complies heavily with the HIPAA Security Standards. All your personal information and all your files are encrypted using a powerful 128-bit algorithm that is virtually uncrackable. No one, except you and our administrators, will be able to access your files and information.

Plus, all transactions between your computer and our website are protected by a 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. This means that nobody can “listen in” on the transactions between your computer and our server. This is the same level of security that large E-Commerce and banking sites use. You can verify this by looking for the little padlock icon used by Netscape and Internet Explorer to designate secure site.

How much does the service cost?
We charge on a per line basis and turnaround time. We also offer a quote per page depending on client requirements. E-mail our administrators by completing the Contact Us form for more information.

What constitutes a line of transcription?
We count a 65-character line where a character is defined as any letter, number or symbol necessary for the final appearance and content of a document, including the space bar.

What payment methods are available?
Payments can be made through check, credit card, or ACH authorization.   A Billing Invoice for a particular transcription is sent together with your transcriptions and a Billing Summary for all transcriptions is sent to you bi-monthly.  Attached with the billing invoice are bank details required for payment.
